APPEARENCE: Luz is very short for his age, as he stands at 4’11 and weighs 86 pounds, he has a small and scrawny build, but he has excellent upper body strength(and that is not just from playing Wheelchair Basketball(no he doesn’t play on a team, it is just something he does in his free time)). He has blond hair which is down his cheeks in front and down to his neck in the back; his hair is in a neat style. His eyes are a pale green and honey beige skin. Luz is disabled, as he is paralyzed from the waist down, so as Luz he has to use a wheelchair(not one of those newer models the one’s that have that joystick that moves the wheelchair front or back or turns it, he uses the old fashioned ones.) to get around in. It is light green.
When as Hack, his armor tends to spread across -over and underneath- his skin as a harmless liquid before it forms into a black suit of flexible armor that doesn’t feel like armor but it is and the armor covers every inch of his head, even his hair. The armor mask’s eyes are a light green(The mask eyes glow when using the mask’s built-in features). He is able to walk, run, kick, jump and use his legs when he is Hack.
PERSONALITY: Luz is as independent as he can be but he knows when to ask for help when he needs it. Luz can get annoyed with his parents and their overprotective-ness of him, he loves them unconditionally and would do anything for them but there are times when they just annoy him to death. He is respectful, kind and nice to his teachers and he is of course to his friends, but he can become a bit childish and can still get annoyed with his friends, especially if they deliberately do things that he can’t do, like racing each other to school or other things like that, but that is not to say that he doesn’t mind watching his friends play around, roughhouse, run or play a sport while he’s left on the sidelines watching and cheering his friends on. He just finds it annoying and depressing that he can’t do the same things they can and finds himself feeling envious and jealous every so often but can usually squish those feelings down and hide his envy and jealousy. While in school, mainly P.E. Luz usually just attends P.E because it’s mandatory and usually just reads a book or works on his laptop on sidelines while everyone else gets do the fun stuff(not that anyone would ever agree with him that it is ‘fun’). Luz doesn’t usually get mad, he’s one of those people who hides his feelings and emotions(mostly his anger, frustration, rage and annoyance) and bottles it all up inside(which will usually lead to him being a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off), he only ever gets visibly mad is when people pick him up out of his wheelchair and then throw him away from it where it takes him anywhere from an hour or more to get back into his wheelchair without help or the use of his telekinesis, which can be quite frustrating for him and leave him a bad or foul mood for a few hours. Luz absolutely hates being called Handicap, Handicapped or Handicappy, it is really the only thing that angers him enough to really show his anger and rage at being called such a degrading and hurtful name(sure he knows there are worse names out there, but that doesn’t lessen the blow to his pride), calling him this will get a very angry reaction and get him angry enough that tears of frustration will well up in his eyes or he’ll yell or scream or even throw something at the person who said it and he’ll start channeling his alter ego Hack. Luz isn’t that hard of a person to embarrass or make blush, in fact it’s easy to get him embarrassed or blushing, all one would have to do is compliment him a bit and he’d be bright red in a matter of seconds and find himself tongue-tied or at a loss for words. The other way is to catch him cooking or baking and he’ll attempt to lie his way out of it(which is impossible to do, since he’s a terrible liar), or he’ll cave and tell the person who found out and make them swear they won’t tell a soul. Luz is very sensitive even though he’ll deny it; he’s very easily upset over animal cruelty, getting bullied(although he usually hides it well enough from his friends, Luz doesn’t want to tell anyone that he’s being bullied and getting him to come clean about it is quite a challenging thing to do, because he’ll start lying and saying that it is nothing and that everyone should just leave it alone, or at times he’ll get mad when it’s brought up, because he doesn’t want anyone involved, fearing that it will make things worse.). When someone gets hurt and it’s his fault, the guilt will eat away at him even if he does apologize to that person, he’ll feel like he’ll need to make things right. Luz can be a crybaby at times, especially if his feelings have been hurt in someway or another and he tends to get teary-eyed or will even start crying a few tears when getting scolded or yelled at(he hates getting yelled at). He can be a worrywart at times when things don’t happen when he expects them to and is easily very worried for his friends and teammates when they fail to report or respond back or when he’s not allowed to go on missions(he’ll get frustrated at first and then his worry will kick in soon after his frustration leaves).
As Hack he is very different, he is very independent, dependable and arrogant(especially around villains), but he tones his arrogance down when around his friends/teammates. Hack doesn’t work very well with teams and partnerships because he is use to working alone and at times can only stand his mentor for an extended period of time before he’ll want to work solo. Hack is very confident in his powers and abilities; he has a lot of confidence in himself and loves to prove that he has what it takes to be just as good as any hero/heroine who has the use of their legs. Hack can be very cocky, sarcastic, witty and arrogant especially when he is in a fight with a villain, but usually he comes out the victor in fights, other times he doesn’t and he learns from his mistakes. He tends to lose his temper when someone calls him “a handicap” or Handicappy((when his teammates find out that he is a cripple and decide to tease him about it) that just ticks him off to all hell and back. Hack just gets so riled up when he called that name or insulted, other insults don’t really bug him, but that one insult(two depending on how you see it as) really gets his goat. Hack is a friendly guy to his friends(he’s pretty much the same in the friend department as is when he is Luz), but he can get very annoyed and even angry with someone has messed with his stuff, especially his inventions and tools(which he leaves at the cave because that is the only place where he can work on his inventions because he doesn’t have the room to work on some of his bigger projects). He just hates it when others mess with his stuff, he is quite possessive over his stuff and his inventions, especially his wheelchair(since he needs it as Luz and if that thing gets destroyed or broken, his parents will be very angry with him((This is when the others find out that he is Luz Lupina))). He hates it when villains decide to hack into his armor’s systems and he has to stop the hacking, that just really annoys him and makes him want vengeance. Unlike Luz, Hack can hide his emotions(more or less thanks to the armored helmet and mask he wears that covers his face) making it near impossible to tell what he’s thinking or planning on doing or even what his current expression is since one can’t see his eyes or expression, which is how he likes to keep things. All in all, Hack isn’t someone you’d want to cross or be on the bad side of, since he won’t hesitate to show someone just how wrong they are in underestimating him or ticking him off. Hack like Luz hates being yelled at or scolded, he just hates it but instead of crying(at least as much as anyone can see, given the fact that he wears a mask) about it like his alter ego Luz(Luz thinks of Hack as a different personally of sorts and Hack thinks the same about Luz, if that makes sense?) will, he’ll get angry and start yelling back.
Quirks: Luz tends to tap his fingers on either his wheelchair wheels, the arm rests or he’ll drum his fingers on his legs because he simply can’t stop fidgeting because it gives him something to do and eases his nerves. He has a bad habit of biting and chewing on his bottom lip or the inside of his cheek when he’s thinking, nervous, concerned, worried or scared about something.
POWERS: He has super intelligence and is a technopath, meaning he can connect with computers and other forms of technology, he can get computer data from them, he can mentally project himself into a computer and hack away at the computer(or alarm system or camera, etc) and also disable firewalls, alarms, cameras, silent alarms, fire alarms, activate fire alarms, sprinkler systems, collect specific data from a certain file without alerting the computer or computer user that it is being hacked and it allows him to find quickest routes to their goal or warn his teammates of incoming trouble. His Technopathy ability allows him to 'talk' to computers(And other electronics) and make it tell her the password or username of last person who used the computer. A very limited telekinesis, his telekinesis only can work on himself and things within a certain weight limit, he can’t lift anything heavier than what he weighs. He has Omnilingualism and has limited and very rare bursts of telepathy(usually he suffers from headaches and migraines when he is having a rare burst of telepathic power and even then the telepathic power only works on those within a certain range and when only when in certain situations, such as life or death)((All tie into his super intelligence)). He has genius level intelligence, is an expert hacker, a below average hand to hand combat specialist, an above average weapon specialist and he is an expert in sword fighting.
For his armor; in his armored helmet/mask he has a built-in heat sensor in the eyes of the helmet and can either track someone via body heat or see the trail someone left in escaping(similar to what Cheshire’s mask did in Infiltrator) or he can see alarms not visible to the naked eye or he can run scans of other people(getting a profile of said person or people) and find the target(similar to what Red Arrow’s sunglasses did in Targets) or he can run scans on technology, weapons(even those from video games(which is where he got some of the ideas for weapons) and alien technology and learn how to build them on his own or add them onto the changes his armor makes and finally his mask automatically allows him to breathe underwater and when out in space(but out in space and in the water the mask’s oxygen will only last for a certain amount of time, the longest is for 16 hours underwater and 24 hours in space.).
He has made a very highly advanced and developed suit of flexible armor that can change into 10 different forms that feature different weapons. The armor won’t look any different from the original(mostly); just the weapons(some of them) and the devices will be easier seen on some of the armor changes than others.
He has 10 different changes that he can make to his armor into; this is the main, the original and the first armor change(this is one from the picture, I was planning on his first change being the original) which is the hacking armor this one deals with hacking and this is the only armor change he can change into or out of willingly without it taking more than a few seconds because his hacking form is what he is his main form and the one that modeled the other armor changes. On both of his wrists appear two small holo-watch computers(similar to one Robin has), with a two small holo-keypads that are used with one hand, so if one is damaged he still has the other as a backup. He has a larger non-holo-keypad and a non-holo-screen that comes from a small disk that are taken from his belt and change shape and size into the shape of a small laptop which he connects to with his powers and connects said computer to any and all technology that is connected to the current alarms or computers that he is currently hacking into. He also has two blades that come from his elbows and from his heels on his boots and he has retractable metal talons on his fingertips(all ten of them) and he also has a sword(the same one in the picture. And Hack is normally left handed but he is also ambidextrous and can use both his hands to wield a sword or some type of weapon, although his left hand is more dominant than his right.) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath held there by two black strings that are tied to the back of his armor and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin allowing him to incapacitate opponents by giving them even the smallest of cuts.
In his second change this one deals with blade armor; his entire left arm, all the way from his elbow to his fingertips are made up of a huge thick blade that can cut through almost anything and with the blade he can slice through attacks or even block attacks with the side of the blade. On his right hand(which is normal like the one in the picture), he has metal talons come from the fingertips of the armor on his right hand, small knife tips come from the knuckles, a hidden blade comes from the bottom of his wrist, one small blade come from the elbow(similar to ones in the superhero costume picture, the one on the elbow), two short sword blades come from the shoulders, running along the sides of his armor are three hidden blades on each side and finally down his legs, he has four blades in the front of both his thighs and his legs after his knee and before his ankle(similar to the elbow blade in the picture), he has four thick blades in the knees of his armor and on the top art of his foot, he has metal talons that come from the toes and last but not least, in the back where his heels are, are two blades(similar to the elbow ones in the picture). He also has the same sword(the same one in the picture) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin.
In his third change this one deals with Daggertail chain whip armor; Both his shoulders and all the way down to his wrists are wrapped up in two separate Daggertail chain whips, his hands and fingers are wrapped in Daggertail chain whips but they are smaller. He has thick, Daggertail chain whips which wrap around his chest, stomach, sides and his back. He two Daggertail chain whips wrapped around his thighs and they stop at his metatarsal bones(the part of the foot before the toes). These chain whips can be fully or partially detached from his armor. When the chain whips are fully detached from his armor they can be used by his hands or telekinesis. When they are partially detached they can be used by his telekinesis or used as an extension of his body.
In his forth change this one deals with energy barriers and energy powered weapons. He has an energy sword which is strapped to his right leg(after his knee and before his ankle, two energy pistols strapped to his hips held by holsters, an energy cutlass which is strapped to his left leg(after his knee and before his ankle), an energy stave which is strapped across his back, energy grenades which are hidden on his belt and two energy daggers strapped to his left and right bicep. He also has an energy garrote that is strapped to his right thigh. He has two energy barriers that look like discs that are attached to the palms of his hands. One generates a light green energy barrier that just surrounds his entire form in an outline of light green, protecting himself and the other the one on his right hand generates a light green energy bubble to protect not only himself but other people as well, the energy bubble is about ten feet high and ten feet width at max power, anything lower than shrinks the energy bubble and if he isn’t standing the size and length of the energy bubble will be greatly decreased.
In his fifth change deals with fighting/flying. His armor takes the form of a black metal humanoid dragon(even his mask changes into that of a metallic dragon’s face) with light green eyes, claws, the inside of his wings and the large blade on his tail. In this armor form he can shoot fire out of his hands and from his mouth. He can also breathe out smoke for a smoke screen. He has made the talons on his hands and feet long and sharp so that he can shred his enemies. He can also fly with his metal wings(but not only does he need lesions in flying but also landing as well…).
In his sixth change this one deals with stealth. His gloves change to clawed gauntlets, with a grappling hook hidden in each hand. He has an energy garrote that is strapped to his waist and a curveblade which is strapped to his right hip. He has a Flink(a type of grappling tool that is used to wrap around other things(like a wooden beam) and allow the user to swing up onto said place or swing onto(or into) something else and it is used to aid in stealing and to steal out-of-reach items), which is hooked onto the left front side of his belt. He has smoke bombs, smoke pellets, knockout pellets and knockout gas bombs hidden in his belt. His boots turn into hoverboots, and allow him to either hover above ground while standing still or he can walk or run on the air itself and can be a few feet off the ground if he wants to be, he also has a mini flashlight hidden in a small compact space on the right side of the sole of his boots and a jetpack appears on his back with a long cord that goes around his right shoulder blade and wraps around his arm and ends at his wrist where his palm would start and attached to the end of the cord is a detonation switch-sort of like a deadman’s switch which will make a bomb go off but instead of a bomb the switch activates the jetpack’s boosters so if he lets go of the button the jetpack’s boosters will shut off and finally along the entire length of his arm, from his shoulder to his wrist is a long thick light green stripe that materializes a solid light green hoverboard, which is 2’11 feet tall and the width, and can only hold one person on it(AKA him), since he made it for himself but if need be, it can get longer in height and be able to carry at least two people. He also has a button on the back of his neck which turns him(and anything/anyone he is holding) invisible and completely blocks his heat signature, hides him from cameras and laser sensors but he can’t hide himself from silent alarms. He also has a sword(the same one in the picture) coated in potent nerve toxin and strapped to his left thigh where the onyx black hilt of the sword rests against his hip while the end of the onyx black sheath rests against his ankle held securely by five black straps(surprisingly he can still bend his knee and walk/run easily.
In his seventh change this one deals with fire, water, electricity and ice generating weapons. He has flamethrower built into his armor gloved hands and two small icethrower(like a flamethrower but it works with ice instead) built into the palms of his armor gloves. He has ten sets of hoses nozzles form from the tips of all ten of his fingertips and shoot jets of high powered water from his fingertips, similar to that of a hose on a fire truck, he uses this to not only knock out opponents or to push/throw someone back, he’ll use it to help put out a fire. He has two guns strapped to his belt by two onyx black holsters, one is a freeze gun which shoots ice beams that freeze objects to absolute zero(and he uses it on villains to, but he has a dial on it where he can control the coldness of the freeze gun)(think Captain Cold’s freeze gun). The other is a heat gun that allows to fire beams of heat(similar to Superman’s heat vision) but can melt almost anything they come into contact with objects and can easily melt through rock and metal if the dial is turned onto full, other times his heat gun can just burn people with one, two or third degree burns and it can singe people’s hair and set their clothes on fire when it set on it the lowest point of the dial. He also has four tasers, two hidden on the underside of his wrists and two hidden in the soles of his boots and a whip that can generate electricity and lightning that will run along the start the leather whip and the handle is made of leather and rubber so that he doesn’t accidently shock himself. The whip is held secure by his belt. And finally his armor also gives him a strong resistance to fire and ice attacks, temperature, climate, being in a burning building or a freezing blizzard. Lightning/electric attacks still effect him, as does large bodies of water(because he can't swim) that require one to swim.
In his eighth change this one deals with needles, crystalline guns, toxins, poisons, knockout gas, nerve gas and other little tidbits of strange but very useful weapons. On both his hands appear to be what looks to be like two guns which are covered in purple crystalline spikes, that cover the top part of the gun where the crystalline spikes get cut into smaller pieces before they are shot from the barrel of the gun. The crystalline spikes also work as tracking/homing thing, where it can home in on it’s intended target but won’t go after an ally but if several of spikes are fired off then the crystalline spikes will split off and go after several enemies at once or just one sole enemy(if there is only one enemy.). He has slim device on the inner side of his right wrist that shoots needles coated in nerve toxin and a paralyzing poison. He has several smaller toxins, poisons, knockout gas and nerve gas bombs and vials strapped to his belt. He also has an odd array of things that he(or his teammates) might need, rope, gags, and blindfolds hidden in various places in his armor.
In his ninth change this one deals with lasers guns. He has two laser guns hidden in his hands, two flat round laser guns hidden on the palms of his armor and ten small laser guns that come from his fingertips. He has two larger laser guns that come from his shoulders and look more like turrets rather than laser guns. He has a large laser gun that looks more like a cannon that opens from his chest and shoots out a large devastating laser. He has two laser guns that come from his knees, two that come from the heels of his boots and ten small lasers that come form his toes in his boots. He also has one small laser that comes from his forehead.
In his tenth change this one deals with deflector and redirector weapons that are both for defensive and offensive purposes. He can create light green energy shields of various sizes from the light green lines that run all along his armor, across every inch of it, the lines crisscross and overlap whenever they meet another line. The energy shields can become solid for a short period of time before they will dissolve into harmless light green energy particles from not being connected to their power source(which is the energy(the harmless liquid) that forms his armor and a light green energy barrier that not only allows him to block most weapons, physical attacks and elemental attacks it allows him to deflect or block an attack but he can redirect the attack back at the person with ten times the force used. He also has the same sword(That sword is his main weapon and he usually has it most of his armor changes, but some of his armor changes don’t have the sword) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin.

Limits: He can run out of weapons in a few of his armor changes and his armor changes hacking change’s computer systems can be hacked and he will lose all control over his systems and will be forced to watch as he attacks his own teammates and friends until he can stop the hack(by using his technopath powers and going into his armor to fight the hacker) and regain control over his hijacked hack armor. If he wants to use some of his weapons(the blades) in his armor than he’d have to get in close to his opponent, but with the laser guns(and other weapons) he can be either close range, mid range or long range from his target before he hits he/she with a laser beam(or some sort of weapon that is made for mid-to-long range(he can even fire a laser beam or shoot a gun when he’s down on the ground(from being unable to walk due to either EMP’s or an electrical attack). His force field can be destroyed or broken through if something powerful enough or repeatedly hits it, it will crack and shatter the force field. His armor can be damaged, cracked or torn off if someone with super strength were to get a hold of him or someone used fire, water, electricity or ice to burn, drown, electrify or freeze him through the armor(if he is not in his armor change that is resistant to fire and ice attacks) as those would pass through the armor and go straight to him, those would make cracks or damage the armor and allow someone to get to the delicate human beneath the armor and the electrical attacks will result in his armor’s cybernetics in his legs to give out and he will crumple to the ground in a heap unable to walk or even stand up until he manages to get the cybernetics in his legs back online(which can take anywhere from a few seconds to minutes to an hour or longer depending on the damage done).
Weaknesses: It takes him a few seconds to 'disconnect' from a computer(or some kind of machine if he is connected to it), he can lose control over his telekinesis, which can cause things, objects to go flying around the room and technopathy, which will cause all machines to go haywire(excluding the machines in his armor), his emotions can get the better of him(especially when he feels angered or annoyed by something or someone, unappreciated or like a burden to his friends), he is still human and can be hurt like other humans(when he doesn’t have the armor on) maybe even easier. And without his armor being activated both under and above his skin he won’t be able to walk. EMP’s and electric attacks not only shock him horribly but they also return him to a cripple and being unable to fight or stand, walk or even use his legs, makes him easy prey for enemies. He also can not swim(because he doesn’t know how and is too much a chicken to learn how, even in his armor form). He can only stay in one armor form at a time because changing into a different armor change(except in his hack armor form(his normal armor form where he can change into a different armor form or back into his hack armor form at any given time, because that form is the original and doesn’t have a time limit(where he can’t switch to a different armor change until a certain amount of time has passed, like the others do) were it takes up too much time to change between armor changes.
History: His life was normal until he was three when he was in a car accident and he was paralyzed from the waist down and three months after the incident, his parents moved to Phoenix Arizona where he started a new life and new school, but the fact that he couldn’t walk didn’t sink in until he was in preschool where he had to go to a special school because of his paralyzed legs. His parents were always overprotective of him, they rarely ever let him out of their sight. When he was older he asked his parents why and they reluctantly told him what had happened, that he was in a car accident and why he was paralyzed. By the time he was eight; he had made no friends and was picked on relentlessly at school because of the fact that he was disabled and so different from his peers.
He got his powers when his was twelve, when parents took him to a research facility that had recently developed a machine that would fix his paralyzed legs, so that he could do all the things he never got the chance to, but it was recently developed and he had volunteered to be a test subject but the while the laser charged up the machine malfunctioned and instead of hitting his paralyzed legs the laser hit his head and machine ended up shooting randomly in all directions -luckily it missed him and the other people in the room- before it was finally shut down by the technicians’, after tests were run to see if the laser had done any damage to his brain, and he had to stay overnight just to make sure that nothing happened. In the morning of the next day while waiting for his parents to come pick him up, he left his room and started exploring on his own and by pure chance ended up finding the room where the laser was being kept in and couldn’t help his curiosity and went up to the door, there was a handprint scanner beside the door along with a keypad. The door was locked and password coded, there was no way he was going to get in now. But without thinking about it his brain had something else in mind as he placed his hand on the handprint scanner and he found himself communicating with the machine but all too soon the moment was over and the door was unlocked for him to enter. Inside the room was the laser that had malfunctioned on him the day before and within minutes he was already finding the reason why the machine malfunctioned on him and was fixing the problem so that it didn’t happen again. Funny how a twelve year old was messing with technology that he shouldn’t but already knew how to fix the problem with it and was fixing it, completely oblivious to the tools floating around him and coming toward him when he needed a different tool. Luz’s disappearance had caused quite a commotion when he was found by a technician and his frantic father. The two were shocked when they found him, tools levitated by some unseen force and a crippled twelve year old fixing the machine that could have very well killed him. However the two men didn’t get much of a chance to take in the amazing sight before them, they didn’t even get to demand an explanation from the boy when an the sound of an explosion rocked the entire room, the floor shaking underneath the two men’s feet, making them lose their balance. The explosion had drawn Luz’s attention as the boy blinked in confusion, tools falling around him with his concentration broken. The boy paid no mind to it though, as he stopped messing with the machine and turned his wheelchair around just in time to see his father on his back and another man on his stomach propping himself on his elbows. “What’s going on?” Luz asked in confusion, the two men didn’t even get to answer as the floor shook again violently and right under Luz before the floor collapsed under him and sent him plummeting down to the basement(he was on the second floor). It was a miracle that the wheelchair landed on it’s wheels but it still tipped over and he was left hitting the tiled floor roughly and rolling across the tiled floor a few feet from his toppled over wheelchair. With a groan, Luz rolled himself over to his stomach and found himself suddenly being picked up by his throat, a pale, overly muscled hand wrapped around his throat and found himself staring at a buff man who towered over him easily, the man was wearing a lab coat, so he must have worked here right? “Where is it?” the man demanded shaking him slightly. “Where’s… what?” he gasped out not getting enough oxygen into his lungs and the pressure on his throat was excruciating. The muscled man growled and released him, dropping to the ground in heap of limbs as he struggled to protect his face from the fall. “The laser!” The man snapped in fury. Using his arms to push himself up, his arms shaking slightly from the effort and he focused on taking gulps of air, after a few seconds Luz answered. “Why do you want it?” Luz asked as his super intelligence was kicking in and he was now trying to get answers so that he could fill in the blanks of why this stranger wanted the laser. “None of your business, brat, just tell me where it is and I’ll let you live.” The man growled as Luz was picked up yet again, this time by his shirt collar and thrown easily into a stack of boxes that made up the basement, a short cry of pain which was quickly cut off he landed roughly on his back with a box of broken and discarded machines landing on him, knocking the air from his lungs. The muscled man who’s-name-he-still-didn’t-know, started telling him why he was there in the first place. Luz was only half paying attention, he was busy working on getting the box of stuff off of him, but all he managed to do was make the box fall over and its continents spilled over him, and before he could even make heads or tails of his current situation, his hands were already moving to grab the devices and was focusing on making something useful out of the junk and devices that covered his stomach and the floor. His technopathic powers kicked in and made a small gun-like machine that was currently sitting on the ground uselessly by his side suddenly light up and a beam of energy shot from the tip of barrel and managed to hit muscled man in the leg, causing the man to roar in pain and rage but before the strange man could do anything more to Luz the facility officers arrived and managed to subdue the man and carted him off to prison. Luz was taken to the infirmary to recover and take care of his injuries and was reunited with his parents, both who were frightened and worried out of their minds. He was allowed to go home after a few days of staying in a real hospital, and he declined the offer to fix his paralyzed legs, and instead asked for the machines that they had down in the basement and tools, which technicians’ gave him for the trouble they had mistakenly caused and for the trauma they had unintentionally put Luz through.
By the time Luz turned thirteen he had already created his liquid armor, had gotten use to walking in the armor thanks to the cybernetics that were in the armor’s waist, hips, legs and feet and had developed a few of his armor changes. Three months after he turned thirteen, he became Hack and started protecting his hometown in Phoenix, making Phoenix Arizona a safer place. He was later confronted by the Justice League while out on patrol. He was given two choices 1) Join the team of Young Justice. 2) The League would tell his parents of his extra curricular activities. He chose the first option and annoyingly enough, the Dark Knight and his future mentor, Hawkwoman still told his parents about his extra curricular activities! That was just uncalled for and totally unfair! And even after he had taken up their deal on joining the Team, whatever that was. To make a long story short, he had gotten grounded for two months and his parents were spoken to by Batman and his soon-to-be mentor, Hawkwoman. For the next two months he was trained by his mentor in hand to hand fighting, close quarters combat, sword fighting, energy weapons and a bunch of other things to make sure that he would be ready when he joined the Team. None-too-surprisingly Luz kept his grades up. He has been out patrolling with Hawkwoman for a month after that and has only just recently joined Young Justice(somehow managing to keep his secret identity, well a secret, considering at least Batman and Hawkwoman let him keep his secret identity a secret from his new teammates), he still goes out on patrol with Hawkwoman in his mentor’s city and still manages to patrol his own hometown. He may have joined Young Justice, but he hasn’t met his teammates formally yet.

APPEARENCE: Luz is very short for his age, as he stands at 4’11 and weighs 86 pounds, he has a small and scrawny build, but he has excellent upper body strength(and that is not just from playing Wheelchair Basketball(no he doesn’t play on a team, it is just something he does in his free time)). He has blond hair which is down his cheeks in front and down to his neck in the back; his hair is in a neat style. His eyes are a pale green and honey beige skin. Luz is disabled, as he is paralyzed from the waist down, so as Luz he has to use a wheelchair(not one of those newer models the one’s that have that joystick that moves the wheelchair front or back or turns it, he uses the old fashioned ones.) to get around in. It is light green.
When as Hack, his armor tends to spread across -over and underneath- his skin as a harmless liquid before it forms into a black suit of flexible armor that doesn’t feel like armor but it is and the armor covers every inch of his head, even his hair. The armor mask’s eyes are a light green(The mask eyes glow when using the mask’s built-in features). He is able to walk, run, kick, jump and use his legs when he is Hack.
PERSONALITY: Luz is as independent as he can be but he knows when to ask for help when he needs it. Luz can get annoyed with his parents and their overprotective-ness of him, he loves them unconditionally and would do anything for them but there are times when they just annoy him to death. He is respectful, kind and nice to his teachers and he is of course to his friends, but he can become a bit childish and can still get annoyed with his friends, especially if they deliberately do things that he can’t do, like racing each other to school or other things like that, but that is not to say that he doesn’t mind watching his friends play around, roughhouse, run or play a sport while he’s left on the sidelines watching and cheering his friends on. He just finds it annoying and depressing that he can’t do the same things they can and finds himself feeling envious and jealous every so often but can usually squish those feelings down and hide his envy and jealousy. While in school, mainly P.E. Luz usually just attends P.E because it’s mandatory and usually just reads a book or works on his laptop on sidelines while everyone else gets do the fun stuff(not that anyone would ever agree with him that it is ‘fun’). Luz doesn’t usually get mad, he’s one of those people who hides his feelings and emotions(mostly his anger, frustration, rage and annoyance) and bottles it all up inside(which will usually lead to him being a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off), he only ever gets visibly mad is when people pick him up out of his wheelchair and then throw him away from it where it takes him anywhere from an hour or more to get back into his wheelchair without help or the use of his telekinesis, which can be quite frustrating for him and leave him a bad or foul mood for a few hours. Luz absolutely hates being called Handicap, Handicapped or Handicappy, it is really the only thing that angers him enough to really show his anger and rage at being called such a degrading and hurtful name(sure he knows there are worse names out there, but that doesn’t lessen the blow to his pride), calling him this will get a very angry reaction and get him angry enough that tears of frustration will well up in his eyes or he’ll yell or scream or even throw something at the person who said it and he’ll start channeling his alter ego Hack. Luz isn’t that hard of a person to embarrass or make blush, in fact it’s easy to get him embarrassed or blushing, all one would have to do is compliment him a bit and he’d be bright red in a matter of seconds and find himself tongue-tied or at a loss for words. The other way is to catch him cooking or baking and he’ll attempt to lie his way out of it(which is impossible to do, since he’s a terrible liar), or he’ll cave and tell the person who found out and make them swear they won’t tell a soul. Luz is very sensitive even though he’ll deny it; he’s very easily upset over animal cruelty, getting bullied(although he usually hides it well enough from his friends, Luz doesn’t want to tell anyone that he’s being bullied and getting him to come clean about it is quite a challenging thing to do, because he’ll start lying and saying that it is nothing and that everyone should just leave it alone, or at times he’ll get mad when it’s brought up, because he doesn’t want anyone involved, fearing that it will make things worse.). When someone gets hurt and it’s his fault, the guilt will eat away at him even if he does apologize to that person, he’ll feel like he’ll need to make things right. Luz can be a crybaby at times, especially if his feelings have been hurt in someway or another and he tends to get teary-eyed or will even start crying a few tears when getting scolded or yelled at(he hates getting yelled at). He can be a worrywart at times when things don’t happen when he expects them to and is easily very worried for his friends and teammates when they fail to report or respond back or when he’s not allowed to go on missions(he’ll get frustrated at first and then his worry will kick in soon after his frustration leaves).
As Hack he is very different, he is very independent, dependable and arrogant(especially around villains), but he tones his arrogance down when around his friends/teammates. Hack doesn’t work very well with teams and partnerships because he is use to working alone and at times can only stand his mentor for an extended period of time before he’ll want to work solo. Hack is very confident in his powers and abilities; he has a lot of confidence in himself and loves to prove that he has what it takes to be just as good as any hero/heroine who has the use of their legs. Hack can be very cocky, sarcastic, witty and arrogant especially when he is in a fight with a villain, but usually he comes out the victor in fights, other times he doesn’t and he learns from his mistakes. He tends to lose his temper when someone calls him “a handicap” or Handicappy((when his teammates find out that he is a cripple and decide to tease him about it) that just ticks him off to all hell and back. Hack just gets so riled up when he called that name or insulted, other insults don’t really bug him, but that one insult(two depending on how you see it as) really gets his goat. Hack is a friendly guy to his friends(he’s pretty much the same in the friend department as is when he is Luz), but he can get very annoyed and even angry with someone has messed with his stuff, especially his inventions and tools(which he leaves at the cave because that is the only place where he can work on his inventions because he doesn’t have the room to work on some of his bigger projects). He just hates it when others mess with his stuff, he is quite possessive over his stuff and his inventions, especially his wheelchair(since he needs it as Luz and if that thing gets destroyed or broken, his parents will be very angry with him((This is when the others find out that he is Luz Lupina))). He hates it when villains decide to hack into his armor’s systems and he has to stop the hacking, that just really annoys him and makes him want vengeance. Unlike Luz, Hack can hide his emotions(more or less thanks to the armored helmet and mask he wears that covers his face) making it near impossible to tell what he’s thinking or planning on doing or even what his current expression is since one can’t see his eyes or expression, which is how he likes to keep things. All in all, Hack isn’t someone you’d want to cross or be on the bad side of, since he won’t hesitate to show someone just how wrong they are in underestimating him or ticking him off. Hack like Luz hates being yelled at or scolded, he just hates it but instead of crying(at least as much as anyone can see, given the fact that he wears a mask) about it like his alter ego Luz(Luz thinks of Hack as a different personally of sorts and Hack thinks the same about Luz, if that makes sense?) will, he’ll get angry and start yelling back.
Quirks: Luz tends to tap his fingers on either his wheelchair wheels, the arm rests or he’ll drum his fingers on his legs because he simply can’t stop fidgeting because it gives him something to do and eases his nerves. He has a bad habit of biting and chewing on his bottom lip or the inside of his cheek when he’s thinking, nervous, concerned, worried or scared about something.
POWERS: He has super intelligence and is a technopath, meaning he can connect with computers and other forms of technology, he can get computer data from them, he can mentally project himself into a computer and hack away at the computer(or alarm system or camera, etc) and also disable firewalls, alarms, cameras, silent alarms, fire alarms, activate fire alarms, sprinkler systems, collect specific data from a certain file without alerting the computer or computer user that it is being hacked and it allows him to find quickest routes to their goal or warn his teammates of incoming trouble. His Technopathy ability allows him to 'talk' to computers(And other electronics) and make it tell her the password or username of last person who used the computer. A very limited telekinesis, his telekinesis only can work on himself and things within a certain weight limit, he can’t lift anything heavier than what he weighs. He has Omnilingualism and has limited and very rare bursts of telepathy(usually he suffers from headaches and migraines when he is having a rare burst of telepathic power and even then the telepathic power only works on those within a certain range and when only when in certain situations, such as life or death)((All tie into his super intelligence)). He has genius level intelligence, is an expert hacker, a below average hand to hand combat specialist, an above average weapon specialist and he is an expert in sword fighting.
For his armor; in his armored helmet/mask he has a built-in heat sensor in the eyes of the helmet and can either track someone via body heat or see the trail someone left in escaping(similar to what Cheshire’s mask did in Infiltrator) or he can see alarms not visible to the naked eye or he can run scans of other people(getting a profile of said person or people) and find the target(similar to what Red Arrow’s sunglasses did in Targets) or he can run scans on technology, weapons(even those from video games(which is where he got some of the ideas for weapons) and alien technology and learn how to build them on his own or add them onto the changes his armor makes and finally his mask automatically allows him to breathe underwater and when out in space(but out in space and in the water the mask’s oxygen will only last for a certain amount of time, the longest is for 16 hours underwater and 24 hours in space.).
He has made a very highly advanced and developed suit of flexible armor that can change into 10 different forms that feature different weapons. The armor won’t look any different from the original(mostly); just the weapons(some of them) and the devices will be easier seen on some of the armor changes than others.
He has 10 different changes that he can make to his armor into; this is the main, the original and the first armor change(this is one from the picture, I was planning on his first change being the original) which is the hacking armor this one deals with hacking and this is the only armor change he can change into or out of willingly without it taking more than a few seconds because his hacking form is what he is his main form and the one that modeled the other armor changes. On both of his wrists appear two small holo-watch computers(similar to one Robin has), with a two small holo-keypads that are used with one hand, so if one is damaged he still has the other as a backup. He has a larger non-holo-keypad and a non-holo-screen that comes from a small disk that are taken from his belt and change shape and size into the shape of a small laptop which he connects to with his powers and connects said computer to any and all technology that is connected to the current alarms or computers that he is currently hacking into. He also has two blades that come from his elbows and from his heels on his boots and he has retractable metal talons on his fingertips(all ten of them) and he also has a sword(the same one in the picture. And Hack is normally left handed but he is also ambidextrous and can use both his hands to wield a sword or some type of weapon, although his left hand is more dominant than his right.) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath held there by two black strings that are tied to the back of his armor and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin allowing him to incapacitate opponents by giving them even the smallest of cuts.
In his second change this one deals with blade armor; his entire left arm, all the way from his elbow to his fingertips are made up of a huge thick blade that can cut through almost anything and with the blade he can slice through attacks or even block attacks with the side of the blade. On his right hand(which is normal like the one in the picture), he has metal talons come from the fingertips of the armor on his right hand, small knife tips come from the knuckles, a hidden blade comes from the bottom of his wrist, one small blade come from the elbow(similar to ones in the superhero costume picture, the one on the elbow), two short sword blades come from the shoulders, running along the sides of his armor are three hidden blades on each side and finally down his legs, he has four blades in the front of both his thighs and his legs after his knee and before his ankle(similar to the elbow blade in the picture), he has four thick blades in the knees of his armor and on the top art of his foot, he has metal talons that come from the toes and last but not least, in the back where his heels are, are two blades(similar to the elbow ones in the picture). He also has the same sword(the same one in the picture) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin.
In his third change this one deals with Daggertail chain whip armor; Both his shoulders and all the way down to his wrists are wrapped up in two separate Daggertail chain whips, his hands and fingers are wrapped in Daggertail chain whips but they are smaller. He has thick, Daggertail chain whips which wrap around his chest, stomach, sides and his back. He two Daggertail chain whips wrapped around his thighs and they stop at his metatarsal bones(the part of the foot before the toes). These chain whips can be fully or partially detached from his armor. When the chain whips are fully detached from his armor they can be used by his hands or telekinesis. When they are partially detached they can be used by his telekinesis or used as an extension of his body.
In his forth change this one deals with energy barriers and energy powered weapons. He has an energy sword which is strapped to his right leg(after his knee and before his ankle, two energy pistols strapped to his hips held by holsters, an energy cutlass which is strapped to his left leg(after his knee and before his ankle), an energy stave which is strapped across his back, energy grenades which are hidden on his belt and two energy daggers strapped to his left and right bicep. He also has an energy garrote that is strapped to his right thigh. He has two energy barriers that look like discs that are attached to the palms of his hands. One generates a light green energy barrier that just surrounds his entire form in an outline of light green, protecting himself and the other the one on his right hand generates a light green energy bubble to protect not only himself but other people as well, the energy bubble is about ten feet high and ten feet width at max power, anything lower than shrinks the energy bubble and if he isn’t standing the size and length of the energy bubble will be greatly decreased.
In his fifth change deals with fighting/flying. His armor takes the form of a black metal humanoid dragon(even his mask changes into that of a metallic dragon’s face) with light green eyes, claws, the inside of his wings and the large blade on his tail. In this armor form he can shoot fire out of his hands and from his mouth. He can also breathe out smoke for a smoke screen. He has made the talons on his hands and feet long and sharp so that he can shred his enemies. He can also fly with his metal wings(but not only does he need lesions in flying but also landing as well…).
In his sixth change this one deals with stealth. His gloves change to clawed gauntlets, with a grappling hook hidden in each hand. He has an energy garrote that is strapped to his waist and a curveblade which is strapped to his right hip. He has a Flink(a type of grappling tool that is used to wrap around other things(like a wooden beam) and allow the user to swing up onto said place or swing onto(or into) something else and it is used to aid in stealing and to steal out-of-reach items), which is hooked onto the left front side of his belt. He has smoke bombs, smoke pellets, knockout pellets and knockout gas bombs hidden in his belt. His boots turn into hoverboots, and allow him to either hover above ground while standing still or he can walk or run on the air itself and can be a few feet off the ground if he wants to be, he also has a mini flashlight hidden in a small compact space on the right side of the sole of his boots and a jetpack appears on his back with a long cord that goes around his right shoulder blade and wraps around his arm and ends at his wrist where his palm would start and attached to the end of the cord is a detonation switch-sort of like a deadman’s switch which will make a bomb go off but instead of a bomb the switch activates the jetpack’s boosters so if he lets go of the button the jetpack’s boosters will shut off and finally along the entire length of his arm, from his shoulder to his wrist is a long thick light green stripe that materializes a solid light green hoverboard, which is 2’11 feet tall and the width, and can only hold one person on it(AKA him), since he made it for himself but if need be, it can get longer in height and be able to carry at least two people. He also has a button on the back of his neck which turns him(and anything/anyone he is holding) invisible and completely blocks his heat signature, hides him from cameras and laser sensors but he can’t hide himself from silent alarms. He also has a sword(the same one in the picture) coated in potent nerve toxin and strapped to his left thigh where the onyx black hilt of the sword rests against his hip while the end of the onyx black sheath rests against his ankle held securely by five black straps(surprisingly he can still bend his knee and walk/run easily.
In his seventh change this one deals with fire, water, electricity and ice generating weapons. He has flamethrower built into his armor gloved hands and two small icethrower(like a flamethrower but it works with ice instead) built into the palms of his armor gloves. He has ten sets of hoses nozzles form from the tips of all ten of his fingertips and shoot jets of high powered water from his fingertips, similar to that of a hose on a fire truck, he uses this to not only knock out opponents or to push/throw someone back, he’ll use it to help put out a fire. He has two guns strapped to his belt by two onyx black holsters, one is a freeze gun which shoots ice beams that freeze objects to absolute zero(and he uses it on villains to, but he has a dial on it where he can control the coldness of the freeze gun)(think Captain Cold’s freeze gun). The other is a heat gun that allows to fire beams of heat(similar to Superman’s heat vision) but can melt almost anything they come into contact with objects and can easily melt through rock and metal if the dial is turned onto full, other times his heat gun can just burn people with one, two or third degree burns and it can singe people’s hair and set their clothes on fire when it set on it the lowest point of the dial. He also has four tasers, two hidden on the underside of his wrists and two hidden in the soles of his boots and a whip that can generate electricity and lightning that will run along the start the leather whip and the handle is made of leather and rubber so that he doesn’t accidently shock himself. The whip is held secure by his belt. And finally his armor also gives him a strong resistance to fire and ice attacks, temperature, climate, being in a burning building or a freezing blizzard. Lightning/electric attacks still effect him, as does large bodies of water(because he can't swim) that require one to swim.
In his eighth change this one deals with needles, crystalline guns, toxins, poisons, knockout gas, nerve gas and other little tidbits of strange but very useful weapons. On both his hands appear to be what looks to be like two guns which are covered in purple crystalline spikes, that cover the top part of the gun where the crystalline spikes get cut into smaller pieces before they are shot from the barrel of the gun. The crystalline spikes also work as tracking/homing thing, where it can home in on it’s intended target but won’t go after an ally but if several of spikes are fired off then the crystalline spikes will split off and go after several enemies at once or just one sole enemy(if there is only one enemy.). He has slim device on the inner side of his right wrist that shoots needles coated in nerve toxin and a paralyzing poison. He has several smaller toxins, poisons, knockout gas and nerve gas bombs and vials strapped to his belt. He also has an odd array of things that he(or his teammates) might need, rope, gags, and blindfolds hidden in various places in his armor.
In his ninth change this one deals with lasers guns. He has two laser guns hidden in his hands, two flat round laser guns hidden on the palms of his armor and ten small laser guns that come from his fingertips. He has two larger laser guns that come from his shoulders and look more like turrets rather than laser guns. He has a large laser gun that looks more like a cannon that opens from his chest and shoots out a large devastating laser. He has two laser guns that come from his knees, two that come from the heels of his boots and ten small lasers that come form his toes in his boots. He also has one small laser that comes from his forehead.
In his tenth change this one deals with deflector and redirector weapons that are both for defensive and offensive purposes. He can create light green energy shields of various sizes from the light green lines that run all along his armor, across every inch of it, the lines crisscross and overlap whenever they meet another line. The energy shields can become solid for a short period of time before they will dissolve into harmless light green energy particles from not being connected to their power source(which is the energy(the harmless liquid) that forms his armor and a light green energy barrier that not only allows him to block most weapons, physical attacks and elemental attacks it allows him to deflect or block an attack but he can redirect the attack back at the person with ten times the force used. He also has the same sword(That sword is his main weapon and he usually has it most of his armor changes, but some of his armor changes don’t have the sword) strapped across his back in an onyx black sheath and the sword has a black hilt. The sword is coated with a potent nerve toxin.

Limits: He can run out of weapons in a few of his armor changes and his armor changes hacking change’s computer systems can be hacked and he will lose all control over his systems and will be forced to watch as he attacks his own teammates and friends until he can stop the hack(by using his technopath powers and going into his armor to fight the hacker) and regain control over his hijacked hack armor. If he wants to use some of his weapons(the blades) in his armor than he’d have to get in close to his opponent, but with the laser guns(and other weapons) he can be either close range, mid range or long range from his target before he hits he/she with a laser beam(or some sort of weapon that is made for mid-to-long range(he can even fire a laser beam or shoot a gun when he’s down on the ground(from being unable to walk due to either EMP’s or an electrical attack). His force field can be destroyed or broken through if something powerful enough or repeatedly hits it, it will crack and shatter the force field. His armor can be damaged, cracked or torn off if someone with super strength were to get a hold of him or someone used fire, water, electricity or ice to burn, drown, electrify or freeze him through the armor(if he is not in his armor change that is resistant to fire and ice attacks) as those would pass through the armor and go straight to him, those would make cracks or damage the armor and allow someone to get to the delicate human beneath the armor and the electrical attacks will result in his armor’s cybernetics in his legs to give out and he will crumple to the ground in a heap unable to walk or even stand up until he manages to get the cybernetics in his legs back online(which can take anywhere from a few seconds to minutes to an hour or longer depending on the damage done).
Weaknesses: It takes him a few seconds to 'disconnect' from a computer(or some kind of machine if he is connected to it), he can lose control over his telekinesis, which can cause things, objects to go flying around the room and technopathy, which will cause all machines to go haywire(excluding the machines in his armor), his emotions can get the better of him(especially when he feels angered or annoyed by something or someone, unappreciated or like a burden to his friends), he is still human and can be hurt like other humans(when he doesn’t have the armor on) maybe even easier. And without his armor being activated both under and above his skin he won’t be able to walk. EMP’s and electric attacks not only shock him horribly but they also return him to a cripple and being unable to fight or stand, walk or even use his legs, makes him easy prey for enemies. He also can not swim(because he doesn’t know how and is too much a chicken to learn how, even in his armor form). He can only stay in one armor form at a time because changing into a different armor change(except in his hack armor form(his normal armor form where he can change into a different armor form or back into his hack armor form at any given time, because that form is the original and doesn’t have a time limit(where he can’t switch to a different armor change until a certain amount of time has passed, like the others do) were it takes up too much time to change between armor changes.
History: His life was normal until he was three when he was in a car accident and he was paralyzed from the waist down and three months after the incident, his parents moved to Phoenix Arizona where he started a new life and new school, but the fact that he couldn’t walk didn’t sink in until he was in preschool where he had to go to a special school because of his paralyzed legs. His parents were always overprotective of him, they rarely ever let him out of their sight. When he was older he asked his parents why and they reluctantly told him what had happened, that he was in a car accident and why he was paralyzed. By the time he was eight; he had made no friends and was picked on relentlessly at school because of the fact that he was disabled and so different from his peers.
He got his powers when his was twelve, when parents took him to a research facility that had recently developed a machine that would fix his paralyzed legs, so that he could do all the things he never got the chance to, but it was recently developed and he had volunteered to be a test subject but the while the laser charged up the machine malfunctioned and instead of hitting his paralyzed legs the laser hit his head and machine ended up shooting randomly in all directions -luckily it missed him and the other people in the room- before it was finally shut down by the technicians’, after tests were run to see if the laser had done any damage to his brain, and he had to stay overnight just to make sure that nothing happened. In the morning of the next day while waiting for his parents to come pick him up, he left his room and started exploring on his own and by pure chance ended up finding the room where the laser was being kept in and couldn’t help his curiosity and went up to the door, there was a handprint scanner beside the door along with a keypad. The door was locked and password coded, there was no way he was going to get in now. But without thinking about it his brain had something else in mind as he placed his hand on the handprint scanner and he found himself communicating with the machine but all too soon the moment was over and the door was unlocked for him to enter. Inside the room was the laser that had malfunctioned on him the day before and within minutes he was already finding the reason why the machine malfunctioned on him and was fixing the problem so that it didn’t happen again. Funny how a twelve year old was messing with technology that he shouldn’t but already knew how to fix the problem with it and was fixing it, completely oblivious to the tools floating around him and coming toward him when he needed a different tool. Luz’s disappearance had caused quite a commotion when he was found by a technician and his frantic father. The two were shocked when they found him, tools levitated by some unseen force and a crippled twelve year old fixing the machine that could have very well killed him. However the two men didn’t get much of a chance to take in the amazing sight before them, they didn’t even get to demand an explanation from the boy when an the sound of an explosion rocked the entire room, the floor shaking underneath the two men’s feet, making them lose their balance. The explosion had drawn Luz’s attention as the boy blinked in confusion, tools falling around him with his concentration broken. The boy paid no mind to it though, as he stopped messing with the machine and turned his wheelchair around just in time to see his father on his back and another man on his stomach propping himself on his elbows. “What’s going on?” Luz asked in confusion, the two men didn’t even get to answer as the floor shook again violently and right under Luz before the floor collapsed under him and sent him plummeting down to the basement(he was on the second floor). It was a miracle that the wheelchair landed on it’s wheels but it still tipped over and he was left hitting the tiled floor roughly and rolling across the tiled floor a few feet from his toppled over wheelchair. With a groan, Luz rolled himself over to his stomach and found himself suddenly being picked up by his throat, a pale, overly muscled hand wrapped around his throat and found himself staring at a buff man who towered over him easily, the man was wearing a lab coat, so he must have worked here right? “Where is it?” the man demanded shaking him slightly. “Where’s… what?” he gasped out not getting enough oxygen into his lungs and the pressure on his throat was excruciating. The muscled man growled and released him, dropping to the ground in heap of limbs as he struggled to protect his face from the fall. “The laser!” The man snapped in fury. Using his arms to push himself up, his arms shaking slightly from the effort and he focused on taking gulps of air, after a few seconds Luz answered. “Why do you want it?” Luz asked as his super intelligence was kicking in and he was now trying to get answers so that he could fill in the blanks of why this stranger wanted the laser. “None of your business, brat, just tell me where it is and I’ll let you live.” The man growled as Luz was picked up yet again, this time by his shirt collar and thrown easily into a stack of boxes that made up the basement, a short cry of pain which was quickly cut off he landed roughly on his back with a box of broken and discarded machines landing on him, knocking the air from his lungs. The muscled man who’s-name-he-still-didn’t-know, started telling him why he was there in the first place. Luz was only half paying attention, he was busy working on getting the box of stuff off of him, but all he managed to do was make the box fall over and its continents spilled over him, and before he could even make heads or tails of his current situation, his hands were already moving to grab the devices and was focusing on making something useful out of the junk and devices that covered his stomach and the floor. His technopathic powers kicked in and made a small gun-like machine that was currently sitting on the ground uselessly by his side suddenly light up and a beam of energy shot from the tip of barrel and managed to hit muscled man in the leg, causing the man to roar in pain and rage but before the strange man could do anything more to Luz the facility officers arrived and managed to subdue the man and carted him off to prison. Luz was taken to the infirmary to recover and take care of his injuries and was reunited with his parents, both who were frightened and worried out of their minds. He was allowed to go home after a few days of staying in a real hospital, and he declined the offer to fix his paralyzed legs, and instead asked for the machines that they had down in the basement and tools, which technicians’ gave him for the trouble they had mistakenly caused and for the trauma they had unintentionally put Luz through.
By the time Luz turned thirteen he had already created his liquid armor, had gotten use to walking in the armor thanks to the cybernetics that were in the armor’s waist, hips, legs and feet and had developed a few of his armor changes. Three months after he turned thirteen, he became Hack and started protecting his hometown in Phoenix, making Phoenix Arizona a safer place. He was later confronted by the Justice League while out on patrol. He was given two choices 1) Join the team of Young Justice. 2) The League would tell his parents of his extra curricular activities. He chose the first option and annoyingly enough, the Dark Knight and his future mentor, Hawkwoman still told his parents about his extra curricular activities! That was just uncalled for and totally unfair! And even after he had taken up their deal on joining the Team, whatever that was. To make a long story short, he had gotten grounded for two months and his parents were spoken to by Batman and his soon-to-be mentor, Hawkwoman. For the next two months he was trained by his mentor in hand to hand fighting, close quarters combat, sword fighting, energy weapons and a bunch of other things to make sure that he would be ready when he joined the Team. None-too-surprisingly Luz kept his grades up. He has been out patrolling with Hawkwoman for a month after that and has only just recently joined Young Justice(somehow managing to keep his secret identity, well a secret, considering at least Batman and Hawkwoman let him keep his secret identity a secret from his new teammates), he still goes out on patrol with Hawkwoman in his mentor’s city and still manages to patrol his own hometown. He may have joined Young Justice, but he hasn’t met his teammates formally yet.

[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]Hack was bored. Very, very, very bored! He hated stake outs and he hated waiting around for something to happen. He hated feeling like a sitting duck and that was exactly what he was. A sitting duck watching and waiting for the robbers to get their butts out of the store, so he could spring into action, he had already slashed the tires on the get-away van and had taken out the get-away driver. Now all he had to do was wait for his mentor to get here so that they could take out the robbers. “I swear if they don’t get out here in the next five minutes, I’m going in.” He thought as he narrowed his eyes from behind his mask. He gave his surroundings a quick glance to see if something or someone was lurking in the shadows. Seeing no one and hearing nothing, he turned his head back to the scene of the crime, just in time to see the two goons –the same goons he was waiting for- get sent flying through a window. “What the heck! Those guys were mine!” He hissed under his breath, as he turned toward the entrance of the store and saw no one there.
“A little late for a kid to be out here, don’t you think?” A voice asked from behind him, causing the young hero to jump to his feet and spin around to face the speaker. Hawkwoman, what was she doing here? “You got a point in there somewhere, lady? Those guys were going to be mine when they got out of the store.” He growled ignoring the Dark Knight who was below his and Hawkwoman’s perch on the rooftop adjacent to the store that was being robbed or had been robbed. The woman scuffed and crossed her arms over her chest. “You should be thanking us for the help we gave you.” Hawkwoman commented simply. “I didn’t need your help!” Hack snapped back, he wasn’t even going to try and be nice now; these people had come to his turf and had kicked around his criminals! It was his job to keep his city safe, not the Justice League’s. Besides didn’t they have better things to do then deal with street thugs and robberies? Shouldn’t they be stopping the sun from being blotted out or stopping some gigantic plant from destroying a city? Or something more important than what they were doing now? Apparently not. ”Sure you didn’t.” Hawkwoman agreed a bit too smug for the young hero’s liking, but before he even had a chance to comment on it, Batman’s voice stopped him. ”Why are you out here?” The bat asked simply, his eyes narrowing behind his cowl. “What’s it look like I’m doing?” Hack asked answering with a question. Hawkwoman sighed and decided to step in before either Batman lost his cool and hit the kid. “Batman, I’ve got this covered, why don’t you go take those three robbers to the police station?” she suggested, although it wasn’t a full on suggestion. Batman sent her a batglare and Hawkwoman glared right back at him before the bats left.
In the end Hawkwoman got Hack to agree to the deal that Batman had struck up after he had returned from his task. Sure Hack still got into major trouble by his parents but at least they were still letting him be a hero, under Hawkwoman, surprisingly enough. Not that he minded, he kind of liked Hawkwoman as a mentor, she was better than Batman or one of the other female memebers of the team he could have gotten as a mentor.
