The being known as Silver Lantern was a clone of Hal Jordan engineered to take his place. Specifically he had been engineered to kill the Green Lanterns of Sector 2814 if they would not surrender the power rings they possessed. Silver Lantern or Johnny Jordan had narrowly escaped Cadmus but had been brought back and subjected to all sorts of horrendous methods of torture for his successful escape. The tortures had included but were not limited to watching his fellow experiments get brutally beaten and die. Pain shot through his arms, but he remembered the break out he had done earlier.
Stealing a Power Battery he had made his way to one of their Zeta Beam Transporters. It had malfunctioned and ended him up here, hurt. At least he was alive. Now he had a chance to escape from Cadmus....hopefully forever.
