Captain Marvel:
PERSONALITY: Although Captain Marvel sometimes physically looks to be a large and imposing adult, there is no denying that he always remains a 10-year-old boy in mentality. Energetic, happy-go-lucky, and easily excitable, Captain Marvel is easily the least stiff member of the Justice League. Still, even though he doesn't have the control and maturity of his fellow leaguers, Marvel is surprisingly intelligent, tactful and insightful, due in large part to the Wisdom of Solomon that he receives as part of his powers.
Although he is a member of the Justice League, he seems to prefer hanging out with the Team, whom he deems "so cool". This is largely because he feels he can relate to them better than to the adults.
Due to the fact the Team is also technically older than him, he can't help but idolize them, doing all he can to make sure they like him. However, since they at first did not know Captain Marvel's true nature, they were often confused by his excitable nature up until he revealed his true identity. He has a habit of spending time in the Cave even when not on den-mother duty, and has a desire to be one of them rather than to order them around. The Team mistakenly assumed that he was attempting to keep a close and controlling eye on them, when in truth he merely wants to "hang out" with friends closer in age to him.
Captain Marvel's youthful nature unfortunately makes him naive, easily confused and manipulated, which the Team has done at least once.

HISTORY: Captain Marvel is the World's Mightiest Mortal. Originally, he was a orphaned boy named Billy Batson, who was chosen by the wizard Shazam to be a champion of good. Shazam gifted Billy with the power of six legendary Greek figures, and when he spoke the Wizard's name, he became an adult superhero empowered by six legendary Greek figures.
Billy's parents - archaeologists C. C. and Marylin Batson - were killed by their treacherous assistant, Theo Adam, while on a dig at the tomb of Rameses II at Abu Simbel, Egypt. Theo Adam was the resurrected non-powered form of Teth-Adam aka Black Adam. He also kidnaps Billy's sister Mary, who ends up missing.
The wizard Shazam is made aware of all of these events, and has Billy brought before him by the dark-clothed stranger, and grants the boy the power to become Captain Marvel. As Captain Marvel, Billy takes on the form of his late father, which is how Theo Adam guesses his identity, has a revelation about the power of Shazam, and becomes Black Adam using a scarab he stole from the tomb. After subduing Black Adam and his employer, the rich tycoon Doctor Sivana, Billy swears to find his sister as Captain Marvel.
ROLE-PLAYING SAMPLE:
Billy laid down in his room, content after a hard's days work. Having supervised a mission with the Young Justice team they came across Gorilla Grodd and an army of lesser villains he had brainwashed in an attempt to turn them into super powered gorillas to lead into battle to destroy the Justice League
Captain Marvel came in handy there wrestling Grodd and a now simian Blockbuster in order to give Robin and Aqualad an opening to get to Grodd's machine to reverse the effects. The fight was close but thanks to a well timed attack by Aqualad and Miss Martian Grodd was defeated and the day was saved. But that wasn't the best part.
Afterwards he got to go out to supper with the team, which was fun as he got to be with a bunch of fellow young superheroes and just relax and have fun. Billy even made Superboy crack a smile, even if it was a tiny one it was quite a feat.
"I can't wait until tomorrow." Billy says as he shuts off the light. "I wonder if I ask Batman nicely maybe he'll let us hang out and play that new dance game Megan got for the XBOX?" Billy muses as he settled down. "I'm so gonna outdance Kid Flash if we do." he lets out a happy little chuckle as he goes to sleep, dreaming of new adventures to be had.[/font]
