It has been about twenty years since the original Teen Titans and their generation of villains retired - at least from the super business.
Many have children now. Teenagers, most of them - some younger, some older. Some are alien, demon, or human, while a number are laser shooters, shape shifters, or magic-wielders. All stuck under their parents shadows - do this, do that, be like them.
And now that Jump City is under attack once more from villainous...well, villains, it's up to the newest era of the Teen Titans to defend the city. Kids of former Titans fight alongside kids of former villains, and they to people with a more normal and spandex-less past. The DNA doesn't matter.
Just as long as they fight the good fight, of course.
But will everyone listen to the law?
Perhaps the thrill of the chase and the lure of easy money will capture the hearts and minds of the super powered young people of tomorrow, or perhaps not. Will the next generation of abnormal teenagers listen to their parents, whomever they might be, and follow in their footsteps, or fufill the stereotypes that the media parade?
Will they be good, or evil - and just who decides which is which?
Only time will tell.
And time is a thing we don't have much of; we're all falling fast.
