NAME: Conner "Kon-El" Kent
CODENAME: Superboy
AGE: 4 months physiologically, 16 years biologically
GENDER: Male
ALLIANCE: The Team
HEIGHT: 5' 7"
WEIGHT: 150 lb.
FAMILY:
Clark Kent [Genetic Base]
Lex Luthor [Genetic Modification to missing Kryptonian DNA]
Others: The Kents
OTHER CHARACTERS:
APPEARENCE: Superboy bears a heavy resemblance to his genetic precursor, Superman. He stands tall, for his age, often having his stature described as intimidating. Conner has black hair and blue eyes, again like his "father", and with Caucasian skin. His frame is rather large, which is well filled with his muscles. This full Superman look-alike design allows him to easily pass off as the caped crusader to those who don't recognize the size difference, or haven't seen the older kryptonian in person.
PERSONALITY:
Conner wants nothing more than to be a hero, like Superman, though his anger issues frequently prove to be a problem. Most human interactions are far beyond him causing many a misunderstanding. Kent also finds it difficult to forgive others who have wronged him. He is extremely confident in himself and his super powers, due to his Kryptonian physiology, resulting in many a head-first charge into battle. Often, especially when angry, Superboy doesn't often carry on extended conversations. He rarely uses his words, even if not angry, being more of a man of action.
POWERS:
Kryptonian Physiology: Due to the cloning process that made Conner, his DNA is similar to that of any kryptonian. As such, he has powers similar to those of Superman. The primary difference being that he lacks several, including flight and heat vision, of the original's. In addition the ones that he does posses are a fair amount weaker than Superman's.
HISTORY:
Superboy is a clone grafted with Superman's DNA. He was created by Project Cadmus to replace Superman following the Death of Superman story, and was artificially aged to mid-teens and implanted with the necessary knowledge of someone his biological age. Before the experiment could be completed, he was freed by the Teen Titans and escaped. One of the boys gave him a leather jacket before he set out into the city
A recent development has revealed that the DNA sample that had been harvested from Superman was, in fact, incomplete. The resultant discovery brought about the revelation that the missing parts of the genetic sequence belonged to Lex Luthor. Though, the portions of DNA seem to have less of a real affect on the young man in terms of physical appearance or personality. The only real difference that it has proven is the causing of Conner's Kryptonian powers to be diluted.
Over the last half-year he has been an active member of the team, and been one of its most integral members. During this time he has made friends with most of his teammates, and even begun dating Ms. Martian. His "father" Superman has also taken the young kryptonian under his cape to teach him how to truly be like his predecessor.
ROLE-PLAYING SAMPLE:
Conner landed on his feet not long after his own powerful fist to the machine's face just in time to see Kara take the blast full force. He realized that the blast had probably drained the woman dramatically of her power, and would need some time in the light to gain some radiation back into her body.
Unfortunately, the teenager realized that he had too much momentum to lose now if he wanted a shot at beating this thing. On top of this, his human DNA made it so the kryptonite didn't have as fast-acting an affect on the solar energy he had stored. Additionally his tactile telekinesis worked as long as he could move.
Planting his boots firmly into the ground, the kryptonian gripped the machine by its foot and began lifting upwards. The strain that apparently put on him was so much that it seemed he would not be able to lift it. Mental barriers that Kent's brain had placed on himself really sucked for the purposes of protecting himself. But soon enough, the machine began moving upwards until it toppled backwards into the structure behind it. Luthor wouldn't be happy about that, not like the genomorph cared at all, though.
