Gotham City. Hell on Earth. Anything is possible.
The GCPD are mulling on what to do next after suffering crippling losses in the form of the death of Commissioner Gordon. Dick Grayson is becoming a hero in his own right. A good cop has the idea to become a vigilante. Jason Todd is back from death dealt to him by the Joker. The city is both dead and alive, a sentiment shared by the District Attorney, Harvey Dent, who leads a dismal job despite the damage done to his face in a courtroom attack. Detective Edward Nashton has something in mind, allying himself in a risky collaboration with both the Batman, who has almost been taken down at the hands of what he thought were his allies, and the D.A, despite the attorney's hatred of vigilantes and criminals alike. What is held in store for any of these people and everyone else is unknown. This is only some of what goes in the empty existence that Gotham has to offer, in a place where your greatest childhood friend once at the top of his class becomes a drug dealer clutching a gun in a convenience store. A place where your wife dies of an aneurysm on her birthday. This is Gotham City, and it isn't the so called 'heroes' who always save us. Gotham City, a city that never sleeps, yet a city that always sleeps. A place of the living. A place of the dead.
