APPEARENCE:
M'gann feels at her most comfortable in her casual form; around the team she maintains green skin with a dusting of dark freckles, shoulder-length red hair and brown eyes. Due to her abilities being of a super nature, she doesn't physically train herself so any extra weight carries itself around her tummy and thighs. On missions she wears a white top with an emblem of a red X across the front and a navy blue cape, skort, gloves and shoes. If needed, her suit can be altered and shifted at will either for recreational or practical purposes. Whenever using telepathy that requires formidable strength her eyes glow white.
At school and in public she appears Caucasian, heavily inspired by the lead actress in the sitcom 'Hello, Megan!' Her attire varies each day depending on outfits that have caught her attention while window shopping or specific fashion blogs.
Her martian form resembles that of a fictional monster; towering at almost 7 feet with white skin, clawed fingers, sinewy purple muscles and red eyes. The X across her torso is evidently a feature influencing her humanoid appearance, the only part of the body that she can bear.
PERSONALITY:
One of M'gann's strongest attributes is her optimism, the majority of the time she is in a good mood especially when surrounded by her friends. She finds happiness in the little things in life; drinking hot chocolate before bed, flying at the turn of dusk and enjoying a home-cooked meal with the team. Her first impressions are always friendly and amicable, whenever meeting new people she wants to appear as approachable as possible and relishes in learning different forms of human greetings. In the face of conflict she favours a peaceful approach unless any of her friends are harmed in any way, she only thinks whoever they are fighting deserves an equal form of punishment.
M'gann has a keen interest in different forms of human culture; she finds the diversity in Earth fascinating and has a personal goal of seeing as much countries as possible. She revels in subjects such as psychology, sociology and social activism. In her free time she enjoys cheerleading, reading literature, baking and downtime with the team.
Despite the team's acceptance of her martian form, she still suffers from an insecurity complex due to the mistreatment of White Martians on Mars. She frequently questions her belief in herself and in the face of a challenge she is more likely to berate herself and her abilities, leading to self-pitying behaviour. She is over-sensitive and easily offended even when casual insults are thrown her way.
At times she lacks a sense of morality and comes off as naive, when facing certain criminals her actions are impulsive and can be ruthless particularly when using her telepathic skills. When a friend is put at major threat she often feels the urge to send the antagonist into a coma state, usually she consults the team and their opinions on a fitting punishment but lately she has become more adamant in her views that certain people deserve a penance that she deems necessary especially if it helps the team in some way.
M'gann's most profound motivation is the support from the team and the sense of friendship and camaraderie she shares with them. Amongst her close friends she feels worthy of happiness and knows they are devoted to a good cause. Ever since being adopted by the Logans, she has felt an acceptance unlike ever before, loving Garfield and Marie as if she had been part of the family her whole life. One constant that has remained is her relationship with Conner, she loves and cares for him deeply, considering him as one of the few people she is comfortable with confiding in as well as listening to.

HISTORY:
M'gann M'orzz was born on Mars and suffered the reality of treatment for White Martians on the planet, being one of three in her entire family she faced rejection and was belittled by the domineering Green Martians. She despised her life there and the abuse of her appearance triggered a deep feeling of insecurity that has remained throughout her years – even on Earth. As a form of escapism, she would watch television shows sent to her from Earth; she admired the work of her uncle, Martian Manhunter and related to the comedy 'Hello, Megan'
When she turned the human equivalent age of 16, she ran away by hiding on J'onn J'onzz's ship; glamorized by life on Earth and hurt by her life on Mars. Soon she was found and J'onn quickly accepted her as his protege, educating her on vital parts of human life and suggesting she join Young Justice to actively fight to protect Earth. M'gann was elated with the idea and was anxious to meet new friends that she hoped would accept her.
M'gann valued the company of Kaldur, Wally, Robin and Superboy highly. Despite their hospitality her fear of non-acceptance remained and she lied about her story of orgin, claiming she was a Green Martian. From the team she learned certain human etiquette such as not intruding on people's thoughts and using her telepathy to extract information from criminals. Progressively, she honed her powers to benefit the team as much as possible.
When Artemis joined the team, M'gann happily welcomed her as a new friend as well as Zatanna later on. She enjoyed cooperating with the whole group on missions and training, as well as spending recreational time with them. It was obvious that she expressed a lot of concern for Superboy's well-being, resulting in a crush.
One of M'gann's most arduous tests was recovering the team's memories when they were mysteriously stranded in the Bialya desert; not only did she have to locate where they were but she also had to use her mental capabilities to remind them why and how they were lost. Her face-off with Simon strengthened her mental fortitude and confirmed her dedication to the team.
Soon M'gann started school with Conner and her human guise of Megan Morse was established, she quickly became friends with Wendy and joined the Bumblebees chearleading squad. She was happy to finally be a part of human society however the more time she spent on Earth the more she became disillusioned in her views of its people. She had to come to terms with the fact that Earth wasn't perfect and a lot of humans suffered from bullying and oppressive attitudes such as racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc.
After infiltrating Belle Reve prison with Superboy, M'gann's affections for Connor were confirmed and the two established a romance.
M'gann's most painful experience was the fabricated invasion of Earth and deaths of the Justice League; the test instigated by Martian Manhunter forced not only M'gann but the whole team's constitution, perseverance in keeping hope and defending Earth. Consequently, the illusion went out of control and the whole of the Young Justice team suffered from death until all hope was lost, waking up M'gann. Even though it wasn't her fault, she still considered herself responsible and it still left its psychological scars on her; occasionally she suffers from nightmares in which her subconscious almost convinces her that her friends' deaths were real.
One of M'gann's most treasured memories is meeting Marie and Garfield Logan, even though the circumstances in which they met threatened Garfield's life, she was happy to help the family by altering her blood cells to fit Garfield's. However her re-encounter with Simon revealed her deepest fear of rejection from her White Martian form but she still didn't feel confident enough to reveal her original body to the team. When Queen Bee blackmailed M'gann into complying with the enemy by using Garfield, she later informed the Young Justice team and the Justice League of their opponent's plan, formulating their own.
It was also then when M'gann revealed that she was a White Martian to the team, she was shocked that they accepted her but also incredibly relieved that they finally knew and still considered her a friend.
After the team recovered the Justice League from being brainwashed, M'gann has felt a poignant care and gratification to the Logans for adopting her into the family, considering Marie as a mother and Garfield as a brother. She has revelled in the friendships formed within the Young Justice team and happy to aid Roy in his search for Speedy as well as general missions to help the people of Earth.
ROLE-PLAYING SAMPLE:
M'gann wasn't prone to indulging in solitary behaviour; she very much preferred the company of a friend, regardless of whether or not they were actually talking with her. Knowing a familiar presence was nearby was comforting enough. However this evening called for some alone time, the sun was beginning to set its time on the horizon, pale hues of bittersweet orange and pink painted in the sky. Everyone seemed to be busy in the cave and she didn't want to intrude on their thoughts and matters, so she made her way down to the beach by herself. The air was light and fresh, easy to breathe compared to the heavy fumes of Gotham or Metropolis. It reminded her of Mars.
Sitting down on the shore side, M'gann pulled off her shoes and twinkled her green toes through the loose grains of sand, her lips faintly creasing into a smile at the sensation. She repeated the action with her hands until her wrists were deeply buried in sand, she giggled quietly to herself then stretched her fingers through the surface. The remnants of dust lightened her lime skin and her smile faded ever so slightly; whenever she was left alone her mind seemed to control her body's appearance without consent and Megan Morse would begin to seep through the cracks. Over the past few weeks she'd been breaking that habit.
Suddenly disheartened, she hugged her legs to herself and watched the breathing sea – the rise and fall of the tide was calming and distracted her from any self-scrutiny. After a while she heard a shuffling behind her, turning around she recognised the disturbance of her absent thoughts and a surge of warmth spread through her.
“Hey!”
