Tour time(Open/Dick/Barbara)

[Zatanna]

The private academy Zatanna was going to had plans to take their best students to one of the best academy in Gotham. Out of those students there were about twelve and in that twelve was Zatanna Zatara. Even with her missions she kept up with all her homework and tests. Heck even they days she misses she sends out a clone to take her place. The clone would bring her all the notes and homework she had that day. The class had traveled with plane since it was faster to get there than taking a bus.

Once they got to Gotham they got into a bus that took them to Gotham Academy. As they walked down the head master looked at the mix of girls and boys. “You are welcome to travel around the school look around but at lunch time please go to the cafeteria there we will talk to the headmaster and you will be set up with another student from here. There you can ask questions about the school since a few of you might get an offer to join this school.” With a smile she watched her students wide eyes excited. “Know please do not cause any trouble. You may go.” She watched her students break apart a few stayed together as they wondered around the school.

Zatanna walked off alone. She knew that Conner and Miss Martian had came here to start school. It would be cool to run into them. All and all she didn’t follow anyone else being that she wanted to be alone. Walking through Gotham Academy she noticed it was a nice big school. Her eyes kept an eye on the red head girl and black hair boy that she knew. Sighing she kept walking watching the cheerleaders cheer around. Smiling she just kept walking and sat down on a bench that was under a tree.

As she looked around soon she wondered if the boywonder came to school here. All that Zatanna know is that he was from Gotham City and that was all. Looking around she tried to figure out if she could find him. Without knowing what his eyes looked like and being that he covered half of his face didn’t help either. Then she began to wonder his partner Batgirl was also from Gotham. Zatanna soon got excited she wanted to meet her that would have been awesome. Maybe actually make another girlfriend. Looking at her watch she noticed that she still had a good two hours to go till she had to go to the café to meet up with her school.

[Barbara Gordon]

Barbara was leaning against the wall she was normally at. Watching people was what she did. It was because one of her friends had gotten powers, which that caused her to become evil. After that Barbara did not trust to many people. Unless she did a check on their background, through the bat cave and Batman’s computer. Her attention came to a group that came from a different place and a different school. Barbara saw Zatanna and smiled a little. Zatanna didn’t know that Batgirl or Robin came to this academy.

Standing up straight, Barbara headed over to Zatanna. “Hello, you must be from the other school. I am Barbara Gordon.” Barbara had only approached Zatanna was only because she knew who she was. “If you want I could show you around?” Barbara asked. To her this was the best way to get to know her. So when she ever did go to mount justice, she will know how to talk to Zatanna. Barbara pushed her red hair out of her eyes. But she didn’t’ bother putting her hair behind her ear though.

Barbara looked out for Dick to see if he came back to school. Her eyes wonder around, then back to Zatanna. “Are you going to be joining our school?” Barbara had heard that some of the people today might actually join this school.

ZATANNA WAS AT HIS school... talking to Barbara, seriously? Dick inwardly winced as he noticed the two. The girl he knew he liked a lot, and the girl that he might have been developing feelings for. Suddenly he regretted not talking to Alfred about it and getting advice. He had momentarily forgotten about some students from another school coming over to check out Gotham Academy. Since he had a free period now, he had been able to slip out of school to help Batman and do the 'dynamic duo' thing as some people liked to call it. The Joker had escaped from Arkham, like he usually did. Sometimes the dark-haired teen wondered why they even bothered sending them to Arkham instead of Bell Rev. Sure Bell Rev had been corrupted by Hugo Strange, but almost everyone at Arkham was corrupted. Plus, Arkham needed better security.

Putting a smile onto his face, the Boy Wonder approached the two girls. If Zatanna knew his identity, the situation wouldn't be the best, but she didn't so he didn't have too much to worry about. "Babs, hey!" he called with a grin, soon taking up a stance next to his red-haired friend. His eyes moved to Zatanna as he gave her his million dollar smile. "Who's your new friend?" He asked, extending his hand for Zatanna to shake if she wanted to. "I'm Richard Grayson, but you can call me Dick." Most people already knew about Dick Grayson, so they knew better than to make fun of his name. If they did, he'd break into a story about how his mother had always insisted on calling him Rick, and that he hadn't wanted to get confused with his uncle when someone called the man's name, so they replaced the R with a D. Then that would lead him into a story about how they had tragically died. That was why people didn't make fun of him or ask why he was named that. They didn't want a sappy story that would end with both the boy and them in tears.

[Zatanna]

Zatanna looked up and smiled. “Nice to meet you Barbara. I’m Zatanna Zatara.” Standing up she nodded “that would be great. We will be put with someone but to have someone else show me around who actually came up to me sounds better.” When she watched her look around Zatanna wondered why she came up to her and who she was looking for. “I’m not sure just yet. I like my school and it is in my hometown. Sure this is one of the best schools but I’m not sure just yet.”

As someone called out Babs she noticed it was meant for Barbara. Seeing his smile she couldn’t help but laugh a little and gave a warm smile. “Nice to meet you Dick I’m Zatanna Zatara.” Zatanna only allowed a few people to call her Zee and those were her teammates. So normally she would never say you can call me Zee. As she kept a small smile on her face she began to look around. Trying to figure out if she could spot the boywonder, Artemis, Conner, and Miss Martian. “SO what is there to do around this school?” Zatanna asked. Her eyes went back to Barbara’s and looked at Dick’s. As her hair went to her face she put it back behind her ear and smiled. She was a little worried about all of this. It wasn’t hard for her to meet people just she tended to over speak and call people out on things.

Barbara looked over to see Dick was actually here at school today. “Hello Dick glade you actually came today.” Barbara noticed that he looked nervous as he came up. Barbara new she would have to make sure he was okay later on. “I need to talk to you after school Dick. After school so don’t run off.” Barbara looked back at Zatanna with a smile. Once Dick had introduced himself, she let Zatanna introduce herself.

Barbara started to wonder, why Zatanna was here. Why it was her school that came? Thought came to the answer, that maybe Batman set this up. They had Artemis, Conner, and Miss Martian coming here maybe he wanted more of the team close. Barbara new she was over thinking of all of this, so she went back to earth.

“Nothing really. We all just hang out in this area.” Barbara said. “Sometimes you will find some of the other students playing games. Others may go to the gym if they are in a team and practice.” Barbara was trying to think on anything else, but she knew if she missed something Dick would cover it.

DICK HAD TO HOLD himself back from calling her Zee. It had become such a habit, and since Zatanna also happened to be her codename, he often called her that in the field as well. But hey, if Wally could call him by his codename while they were in the Cave, he could call Zatanna by her full first name. "The pleasure's all mine, Zatanna." He replied, flashing her his signature grin. He quickly replaced it with his charming Dick Grayson smile, realizing she might recognize it since he grinned a lot as Robin. But why would she expect to see Robin here? At Gotham Academy of all places? Robin was a boy genius, so maybe she figured he didn't need to go to school. Besides, the only other teammates that went to Gotham Academy were Artemis and Batgirl, and no one but him and Barbara knew that. At least, he didn't think anyone else knew Artemis went here. He figured Bruce had informed Barbara, which would have explained to her why he had taken a picture with the blonde archer on her first day.

But, were the rest of the Team aware of that? It was up to Artemis how much the Team knew about her personal life and she didn't seem like the type to blurt out random facts like where she went to school. After all, it had taken her awhile to tell them who her family was, thus exposing her secret ID. The Boy Wonder cast Barbara a look, an eyebrow slightly raised as she said she'd talk to him after school. He just shrugged and kept his smile on. "Sure thing, Babs. Though the quicker the better, after all Alfred tends to worry if I take too long." It felt good to freely say the butler's name around Zatanna, though she probably had no clue who he was talking about. He gave her an apologetic smile. "Mr. Wayne's Butler. He insists on picking me up after school." He figured Zatanna probably already knew Dick Grayson was the foster son of Bruce Wayne, so a butler shouldn't surprise her. Still, he enjoyed using Alfred's name. Around the Cave, the man was refered to as Agent A. Only Wally, Roy, and Barbara knew who he was talking about when he said Agent A. At least only those three that he was aware about knew. Wally and Roy only knew because they were his two best friends, as was Barbara.

Robin looked toward Barbara as she spoke to Zatanna before chimming in himself. "Babs is right." He said with another shrug. He enjoyed calling her Babs, figuring she had gotten used to it by now. "The school may look all fancy and pretty, but it's just like any other school. Nothing extraordinary about it really. Well, except for the fact that I go here." He made sure to smile to let them know he was joking around. Of course he would have prefered to say whelming over extraordinary, but that would have been a dead give away.

[Zatanna]

Zatanna began to wonder if Barbara and Dick were an thing. It was only because how she talked to him and how he responded to her. As she kept thinking she soon started to blush thinking on the team and other things. Looking over at the two she smiled. “Sorry tend to drift off a little.” At least those two were talking in front of her not trying to hide anything. When they began to talk more she was lost and confused. As soon as she was about to say something Dick had told her what was going on in a way. “Wow a Butler that sounds awesome. You know it’s cool that Mr. Wayne is like a father to you.” Zatanna wasn’t sure if that was the right thing to say. Before she came here she got as much information on the strong men here and who they were. “Sorry if that came out wrong. I sometimes say things that don’t sound right.”

As Barbara started to talk once again and nodded. “That sucks. Oh well its school not much fun you can do while at school.” When Dick began to talk she started to have a light laugh. “Well then I guess I’m lucky to have come here Dick since I got to meet you my life has been completed.” Placing her hair behind her ear once again she just smiled.

The principle saw how Zatanna was already meet up with two people and smiled. “Ms. Zatara you may hang around them. Do not worry about showing up. The others didn’t tend to talk to anyone. So have fun and Zatanna also I know you can travel alone but please be careful if you leave the campus.” She walked away with a smile.

Zatanna smiled and shook her head. “It helps when your dad is famous where you live. I can get away with almost anything as long as it don’t get anyone into trouble or myself.” This time Zatanna kept a smile on her face when she mentioned her dad.

[Barbara Gordon]

Barbara heard what Zatanna said and looked at Dick, soon to wonder how he would take what she said. Her was her job to act stupid on how Bruce and Dick were. Sure she knew who Bruce was. It was his idea to send them to the same school. Barbara always rubbed it in how it was more like for her to keep an eye on Dick. Even she knows it was wrong.

As Dick started to talk, she gave him the really look. Seeing that Zatanna was going along with that she just smiled. But wasn’t sure if she liked the fact that he was flirting with her. Barbara wasn’t sure what she felt for Dick. He was her close friend her best friend. Though did she like him that way. Every time he did get near another girl she really didn’t like it. Well it wouldn’t matter anyway since she really didn’t show any of those emotions. Also being that he was away all the time she did miss him.

Laughing Barbara understood what Zatanna was saying. “Yeah my father is the commissioner around here. It’s hard to get into any trouble at all.” Barbara smiled finally someone to understand her. Looking back to Dick she smiled. “Well if we have to show Zatanna around then that means we don’t have to attend class.” Barbara said knowing Dick would probably like the sound of that.

DICK SHRUGGED TO ZATANNA as she apologized to him. He had already admitted to liking her-- as Robin, of course --and the next step was telling her his secret ID... without Batman finding out and skinning him alive. He was a bit confused on where he stood with Zatanna, unsure if they were officially dating yet or what. Did confessions automatically mean you were dating someone? Or did he have to take her on a date? If they were or did start dating, would he have to tell her his secret ID? He figured she would respect and understand if he didn't. After all, Giovanni had known Bruce, and while she didn't know Batman's ID, he figured she already knew how the Dark Knight could be, paranoid when it came to secrets. But they also wore a mask for a reason.

While the Team was covert, Batman and Robin weren't. Even if one petty thief were to find out their identities, odds were that the information would spread around Gotham like a plague. And if that happened, everyone he knew would be in danger. Haly's Circus, his classmates, Alfred, and anyone else he came into contact with. Not to mention the media would be all over him and his foster father more than they already were. His life would be turned upside down. And then it wouldn't be hard to figure out Batgirl's identity. Once someone knew one Bat, it was easy to figure out the others.

"Sounded fine to me," the Boy Wonder eventually replied. He glanced over at the woman that spoke to them. He looked back to Zatanna, grinning at her. "Lucky you got stuck with us. We can show you around Gotham, maybe even get Babs here to let us look around the police station." He gave Barbara a grin. "Maybe we could catch them bringing in a baddie?" He was glad to see Zatanna smiling again when she mentioned her dad. He liked her smile and if she was happy, then he was happy. A mischevious grin replaced his charming grin at the mention of not having to attend class. Oh this was going to be fun. "Sweet! Well then, what say we go out on the town? Burgers? My treat." It helped being the foster son of a billionare.

Zatanna turned to Barbara smiling. “Finally someone knows how it feels. Its such a pain you can never do wrong or else.” Zatanna said doing some weird finger movements. Nodding she put a thumbs up. “Like that idea about not going to class. Even if I don’t go to this school at all.

Looking up into the sky Zatanna only been here a few times. Those times were when her father was helping Batman with something or when her father had some kind of show. Soon she began to think on where they went to do the their magic trick. Also how they used to lock it up so her father could train batman that was the most exciting day of her life till her father kicked her out.

Taking a deep breath she smiled at Dick. “Well if we are going to leave school and you don’t’ want to get catch. Since the both of you know who I am. I could make doubles of us who will walk talk like us. Meaning we can leave without nobody knowing.” Smiling she looked at Barbara hoping she would say it was cool. “Which after school they would walk down the street together and as nobody will find them they just kinda vanished. I do this all the time at home I never got caught.” Since Zatanna didn’t have a secret identity it wasn’t a big deal if she used her magic. Even though people think its fake even after showing what her father and herself could do.

Barbara smiled and nodded. “Sure we can head that way. As long as they don’t see us that is.” Looking at Zatanna and nodded. “Clones sounds like fun at least this time I wont’ get into trouble.” Barbara liked this girl and hoped to make friends with her well couldn’t’ wait to join the team. Barbara laughed at what Dick said “Well you are the rich boy around here so you better be paying for us.” Barbara walked past him and put her hand on Zatanna’s shoulder “It’s a offer he will regret.” Smiling she walked past the two. “Follow me and I can show you a place where nobody goes.”

Barbara walked behind the school and into the old gym where nobody was supposed to be at. “This is a perfect way to get out and you use your magic to clone us.” Barbara normally didn’t’ do this but she had to loosen up a little.

DICK COCKED AN EYEBROW at the idea of clones. A grin slid onto his face as he remembered when Zatanna had brought up that she'd cloned herself before the other day. "Brilliant idea," he replied, glancing over at Barbara. He gave a light laugh. Yeah, he'd probably regret offering once he saw the bill, but at least he wasn't taking them shoe shopping. From what he heard, girls spent a lot on shoes. He pursed his lips thoughtfully as he watched Barbara put a hand on Zatanna's shoulders. They were probably going to get along great, he thought, and thus so would Zatanna and Batgirl. He silently followed them into the gym, which was new to him. He wasn't normally one to get all quiet.

He had to remind himself he wasn't wearing his glasses, so he couldn't glance over at Zatanna every now and then. He wanted to hold her hand, put an arm around her shoulder, and act like a couple. But Zatanna didn't know Robin and Dick Grayson were one in the same, so he couldn't. Wake up, Grayson! he mentally snapped at himself, realizing he might be acting too quiet for Dick Grayson and he didn't want to draw unneeded attention to himself. "Say, maybe we'll get a glimpse of Batman in action," he said with a grin. The 'Batclan' was a popular topic in Gotham City. Though in all honesty, he hoped they didn't run into Batman. Skipping school, even if it was to show Zatanna around, would most likely not sit well with his foster father. "Or maybe Robin, whom I must say is Gotham's best hero." He smirked to Barbara. "But Batgirl's a close second." He was joking around and he hoped Barbara would know.

While Robin trusted Zatanna with her magic completely, the Boy Wonder couldn't reveal that he already knew she was successful with her magic. "Is this going to hurt?" Richard asked, giving the dark-haired girl a look that said he didn't want to feel any pain. She had said she did it all the time, which made the raven-haired boy wonder if at the Cave, he had ever been talking to a clone and thinking it was the real Zatanna. He made a mental note to ask her later.

Zatanna smiled as they both agreed. “This will be fun.” Smiling at what Barbara said she laughed. “Well then I guess this will be a fun day after all.” Zatanna looked placed a hand on Barbara’s shoulder as well and gave her a big smile. “Don’t worry Dick I don’t eat too much as other people.” Zatanna was talking about Wally but knew nobody would know. They would probably think she lived with a brother or another male than a father. Sure she had a male cousin but she couldn’t find him he was hiding and she had no clue what was going on.

Zatanna laughed “Yeah the great Batman that would be fun.” Rolling her eyes she smiled “Na girls always kick butt when it comes to fighting. I think Batgirl could beat Robin if she had to. Many guys look at girls and think they are weaker that is till they get their butts kicked.”

Zatanna moved Barbara next to Dick and smiled at the both of them. “No this won’t hurt at all. You won’t feel a thing. Trust me I have done this to many times before.” Looking at Barbara she smiled. “Okay Barbara first.” Taking a deep breath she looked at her and smiled. “Etaerc Arabrab snoisulli! (Create Barbara illusions).” Another clone came up from Barbara and smiled at her. “There you see no pain Dick. Do not worry about anything.” Looking at Dick she took another deep breath “Etaerc Kcid illusions.” Another one came next to Dick and gave him a smile as well. “Well there you go.” Zatanna said with a smile.

Barbara looked at Dick and gave him a playful hit. “You wish Robin was better than Batgirl.” She watched Zatanna wondering what it would feel like to have magic used on. “Batman yeah I hope we could see him in action. Its always fun watching him bring in the bad guys. Seeing the cops go crazy because they couldn’t get them.” Barbara actually enjoyed that. Watching her father go crazy. Wanting Batman’s help but at the same time not liking him.

Barbara looked at Dick confused. To her he was acting a little weird. Not sure if there was something wrong. Another thing she would have to ask him. Why was he acting more weird with Zatanna being around.

As they got to the gym Barbara watched Zatanna. Trying to study the way she was about to do her magic. As Zatanna moved them together she looked at Dick. Wondering if he knew about this. As she spoke Barbara took note that it was backwards. That was a big weakness if she couldn’t talk then there was no magic. Seeing a clone of her Barbara smiled. Moving next to Zatanna with a smile “This looks awesome. We best get going .” Barbara looked at the two Dick’s and shook her head “Not like we need more than one.”

DICK RAISED AN EYEBROW at Zatanna's comment. If she knew his identity, he would have commented more on the topic. He wanted to point out how Robin had been around longer than Batgirl, but considering how both girls were on the same page, he thought it safer to keep his trap shut on the topic. He just tsked and halfway rolled his eyes, showing he accepted their counters to his earlier statement. He knew it wouldn't be wise to start a debat with the two girls, especially when Barbara knew him very well and Zatanna knew Robin rather well.

The teenager put a curious face on when Zatanna used her magic, acting as if he had never seen it used before. He faintly remembered when she had given him his own little army of duplicates. The look on the villain's face at the sight of many Robins had been priceless. He smirked at the two Barbaras, saying obviously jokingly "And I thought one of you was bad." He waited a bit to get a possible glare or snarky remark before slinging an arm around the original Barbara's shoulder. "Just kidding." He added with a grin before pulling away as it was his turn to be duplicated.

When his duplicate appeared, the Boy Wonder looked at it-- er him? It was like looking in a mirror. He winced at Barbara's comment about not needing more than one of him. "Okay, we're even." He muttered in somewhat defeat, figuring that that was her way to get back at his earlier comment. He took a spot in-between the two girls, wanting to be next to one of his good friends and his girlfriend-- she was his girlfriend now, right? Gosh, he needed to ask Alfred for advice --as he moved to follow them out of the school grounds. He smiled charmingly at Zatanna. "You know, you're pretty good with that magic of yours." He complimented, allowing himself to at least flirt a little with her. Surely a little flirting wouldn't give him away.
