Redecorating rooms (Open)

"Recognized Cyclone B11!"said the voice of the computer as the light of the Boom Tunnel started to fade, revealing the young Maxine Hunkel, with a box in her hands, and her pet monkey Frankie in her shoulder. She smiled happy after seeing that she was again in the cave. She was wearing a green sweater with yellow stripes in the sleeves and a blue long shirt. She left the box in the ground for a few seconds, it was heavy after all and she needed a break. Red Tornado told her that the cave would be like a second home for her, if she wanted, and of course she wanted. He showed her new room and Maxine had to admit that it was a little flat. The only things she saw were a bed, a closet and few lamps.

The good thing is that she didn't have to worry about the light issue, the lamps worked well and she promised to herself that the next time she came to the cave, she would redecorate her new room with few things of her home. In the box she brought, there were some posters of musicals and heroes of the Justice League, a few stuffed animals, and other things that would make her room more "girl friendly". Franky jumped from her shoulder and ran towards the coach in the living room. The red haired girl couldn't help but giggle a little. "Gosh Frankie this will be so cool. Once my new room is fixed, I wonder if the other members of the team would like to have a sleepover in the cave. I've never been in a sleepover before cause the girls in school never invited me and didn't tell me the reasons. Maybe they had space issues"started to say the freckled girl. Frankie rolled his eyes. "But I have the big feeling, that soon I'll have my first sleepover and it will be a success! Frankie what kind of food would you eat in a sleepover? Pizza? Marshmallows? Pop Corns? No, pop corns would be to watch a movie, but in a sleepover you watch movies too, so then the pop corns are essential then. And the movie, should be of terror, or a comedy? But what if the others preferred to play the games first? Wait wait wait. I'm jumping too fast, first I'll decorate my room, then I'll focus in the sleepover" said Maxine quickly as she flew towards the box. And yes Maxine was so excited that she was levitating without realizing it. As the red haired girl grabbed the box, she started to hum "What is this feeling" of Wicked. Meanwhile Frankie looked briefly to his owner and then lay down in the coach.

[Zatanna]

Zatanna was organizing her own room. Right now it was so she could fit a bigger book shelf in her room. Her head snapped up and her eyes looked at her door when she heard the voice say Cyclone B11. With a smile she stood up and opened her door. As she slowly walked to her room she heard herself talk to her pet monkey. With a smile she was glad to have someone else being here. Sure it was cool to be with M’gann but since her and Superboy seemed to be always around each other it felt weird to be here alone with them.

Seeing that the door had a crack she pushed the door opened and smiled. “Hey Maxine. Do you want any help.” Zatanna knew how much of a pain it was to move in alone. Then again she wanted to be alone. “Its actually cool to have someone around besides the love birds.” Walking up to her Zatanna hoped she didn’t mind at all of her being in her room. “A lot of the members don’t stay here. Most of them have their home to go to. I’m one out of the few that stays here.” Seeing the monkey she smiled. “That’s cool we get a Wolf and a Monkey well not we but as having animals around here.”

Giving a small laugh she shook her head. "Sorry i guess i'm just kinda weid right now." Zatanna really had no clue why she was acting weird. if she was acting weird. She did like Maxine and she figued it was because she wanted to good friends with her. Just having Artemis was cool but having nother friend well that is a girl was something Zatanna really needed.

Maxine finally brought her box to her new room and left it again in the floor exhausted. "Geez, I only brought a box, but it's very heavy. I think I put too much stuff."said trying to catch a small breath. Then she grabbed a poster of Wicked and started to think in a good place in the wall for it, when suddenly, she heard the door opening and a friendly voice behind her. "Oh, hello Zatanna! How are you? Come in, come in!"said Maxine with a smile as she walked towards the young magician. It was good to see friendly faces. "And sure, help is always welcome. The more the merrier and the faster we do this"said with a smile.

She chuckled a little when Zatanna called Superboy and Miss Martian the "love birds". Maxine didn't met Superboy nor Miss Martian yet, but both Zatanna and Black Canary told her that they were nice and friendly. Zatanna told her that they were a couple. "Good to hear that you are glad."said Maxine. She was the typical romantic girl, but for the moment she was okay without a relationship. "And well, now you have a new neighbor in the cave if you don't mind. I'll stay here when I can, my dad gave me permission to move some things here and spend nights here too."said Maxine happy.

"Yes Frankie is very nice, he uses to sleep a lot but he behaves well and.... wait! Do you have a wolf?!"asked Maxine with her eyes open wide. People always told her that she was weird for having a pet monkey, but it was the first time that someone has a wolf as a pet.

Then Zatanna apologized for acting weird. Maxine blinked a little confused. "Weird? No, I don't think you are weird right now"said the red haired girl to her friend. No, Zatanna wasn't acting weird, she was really nice and was happy that she was friend with her. It was hard for Maxine making friends.

[Zatanna]

With a smile she nodded. “Just tell me where you want things and I’ll do it.” Zatanna waited for Maxine to tell her want she needed help with.

When Maxine said she was staying there she went down a little. “That kinda sucks. Well at least you’re here for some time.” Zatanna figured during the weekends she would be here or maybe even some holidays.

With a smile she nodded. “Yes he is white. He really belongs to Superboy I think. He does though help with some missions. He is really sweet. When I first came here he was laying down and I laid next to him and just petted him. He didn’t have a problem with it.” Zatanna said with a smile. “I love animals though. Its cool when we have some. Like a wolf and know a monkey.” Looking at her monkey Zatanna looked back at Maxine. “What is your monkey’s name?”

[Barbara Gordon]

Batgirl had finally made it. It wasn’t like she had to be there but she wanted to pick up some stuff from her room. As she walked to her bed room she heard voices. Turning to one of the doors she saw one of the new girls and Zatanna. Seeing how friendly they were together Batgirl smiled. Going to the door she knocked.

“Hello.” Batgirl said. “You must be Cyclone. Its great to finally meet you.” Batgirl said. “Can I help you guys with anything?” Batgirl asked Normally Batgirl was hanging with Supergirl and Wondergirl but Batman wanted her to her to make friends with the others. She figured this would be a good time to make friends with them. Plus she also loved helping people move into rooms. It was something she loved doing for some odd reason.

Batgirl was in normal clothing but just like Robin she wore sunglasses similar to his and her hair was up in a pony tail.

"Well, I think that we can start with the posters"said Maxine with a smile. She was glad that Zatanna wanted to help her redecorating her room in the cave. "So, in which wall do you think this poster of Wicked could fit well?"asked Maxine as she showed the poster to the young magician.

"Oh don't worry. I think that I can spend time here after classes and on weekends. And maybe you could come to my home to have dinner if you want. I'm sure that dad would love the idea of bring friends"said the red haired girl with nod. Yes she was sure that her father would love the idea.

Cyclone listened to Zatanna's explanation about Wolf. She still couldn't believe it. "Oh my gosh, that sounds awesome!! But I hope that he and Frankie could get along, although Frankie sometimes behaves well." said Maxine pointing towards her monkey. The monkey rose his head, when he heard that his owner was saying his name. He nodded and laid down again in the bed. "My dad and me rescued Frankie a year ago when he and other animals were going to be some kind of lab experiment. I have to admit that maybe we broke a few laws...but it was for a good cause!!!" said quickly Maxine. She didn't want that Zatanna thought that she was a thief or something. Although, she recognized that saving Frankie and the other animals were fun. "Frankie doesn't have issues with petting either. He is very calm"said the red haired girl.

Then another red haired girl knocked and entered in the room. It was Batgirl, although she was in a civilian costume. "Nice to meet you too" said Maxine amazed. Wow, Batgirl was in her room too, it was awesome. She was doing her best to control her inner fangirl. "You can call me Maxine too, well only when we aren't in missions obviously, then I think that yes you can call me by Cyclone. And yes the more the merrier, of course!! With friends things are funnier"started to say Maxine.

[Zatanna]

Zatanna saw Batgirl and waved to her. Of course Zatanna didn’t know Batgirl was Barbara. Zatanna was glad that she was finally joining the girls in away. It was time that Batgirl had hung out here for a while.

With a smile Zatanna picked up the poster and looked at it. “Well how about I place it and you tell me if you like it.” Taking a deep breath she put the poster back down and smiled. “Ecalp eht retsop no eht llaw. (Place the poster on the wall.) “ Once she said that the poster moved up against the wall. Smiling she turned to Maxine. “I hope you don’t mind it gives me practice and it’ll be faster too so we can hang out more.”

Nodding her head Zatanna smiled. “Yeah don’t worry Frankie and Wolf should get along. Wolf don’t seem to mean anyway. He liked me anyway.” Zatanna remembered she was laying on him when she first came here. Zatanna did like Wolf she really liked him as a friend not as a pet. "We all break the law from tiem to time. I mean what we are sometimes its against the law at times. Saving people taking down bad guys with out cops doing our on things. Cops don't like it to much."

[Barbara Gordon]

Batgirl nodded to what Maxine had said. “Its nice to meet you too Maxine.” There was no way Batgirl could tell her she was Barbara Batman would not allow it. For if people can connect them they would find out that Bruce was Batman and Robin was Dick. “I would love to help you as much as I can.” Batgirl’s room wasn’t even ready for her to move into just yet.

Watching Zatanna use her magic she smiled. “I guess this would be easier than I thought.” Batgirl said with a small laugh. “I could use you at home Zatanna.” Batgirl walked and grabbed another poster and put it on the wall showing Maxine and seeing where she would want it.
